I grew up in Wisconsin with a rod in my hand.

Tying began at a young age, learning from my dad, recognizing that small details matter. What began as curiosity turned into part of my obsession. 

The current hair jig market was not satisfactory — inconsistent construction, weak hooks, traditional marabou that no longer separated itself in pressured waters.

So, I refined it.

Each jig is hand tied with intent.
No rushed production. No shortcuts.
Proven profile and only premium components. 

Smallmouth are the foundation, but the performance extends beyond them.

RK Tackle is built on small-batch, purpose-driven craftsmanship. The goal isn’t to be the biggest — it’s to build jigs that earn a permanent spot in your box.
